Summary :Custom development of an e-commerce site that sold products and gave volume discounts that were calculated individually for each customer and based on their purchasing history.


The website was an experiment run by to test the idea of offering volume discounts on gaming products. This approach would compete with pricing strategies being used by other retailers to sell these products online.

The test was successful. While retailers boasted average online orders of $30, DiscountRPG's average online order was just over $1,000.

The site was included as part of the sale of in 2005.
